In DriveX Technical Centre (DTC), every pre-owned two-wheeler is meticulously refurbished to give it a new lease on life. Today we're diving deep into the comprehensive process that makes each vehicle as good as new.

The Journey

1. Initial Inspection

Once a vehicle arrives at the DriveX Technical Centre (DTC), the first step is a thorough wash. This is followed by the Level 1 inspection, a critical phase where inspectors examine over 100 points on each vehicle. The inspection focuses on three major aspects:

• Safety

• Performance

• Aesthetics

Using a detailed checklist, inspectors ensure that each component meets stringent quality standards.

2. Creating the Job Card

Post-inspection, a detailed job card is created for the vehicle, outlining all necessary repairs and parts replacements. The DTC boasts a comprehensive parts department stocked with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts, especially for performance and safety-related components.

3. Detailed Repair and Refurbishment

The next stage involves assigning the vehicle to a specific bay where technicians begin the repair process. Here’s a closer look at what happens:

• Body Work: Technicians first assess the body parts for any necessary improvements. Damaged panels are sent to the body shop for dent removal and other repairs before heading to the paint shop for a fresh coat.

• Parts Replacement: All worn or damaged parts, like brake pads, are replaced. Each part is measured and checked against service limits to ensure optimal performance.

• Software Updates: For newer BS6 vehicles, ECU software updates are performed in-house, a process known as flashing.

4. Quality Control and Certification

Once the repairs and refurbishments are complete, the technician performs a self-certification to ensure all work meets DriveX’s high standards. The vehicle is then handed over to a Quality Control (QC) inspector for a final, thorough check. If the vehicle passes all QC checkpoints, it receives a certification indicating it is as good as new.

5. Customer Assurance

Although customers cannot witness the intricate refurbishing process firsthand, DriveX ensures they receive a vehicle that feels brand new. This rigorous process and attention to detail set DriveX apart from competitors, ensuring customers enjoy peace of mind and exceptional quality.

Conclusion

The journey of refurbishing a two-wheeler at the DriveX Technical Centre is nothing short of remarkable. From initial inspection to final certification, every step is designed to restore the vehicle to its peak condition. To know more watch this full video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QByjJU7luCw
